Comfort

Once the earplugs are fitted they are extremely comfortable. Because they then fit exactly to the ear, no pressure will be felt. this makes them more comfortable than any foam earplug.

Sleeping

The earplugs provide medium to high sound protection. They are more comfortable to wear than any foam earplug. This makes them a very good choice for sleeping. The only better choice available would be custom fitted sleeping earplug - they would not be more comfortable but are easier to handle and may provide some higher sound protection.

Swimming

These earplugs are a good choice for swimming, because the seal the ear from water.

Music

These earplugs provide medium to high protection from loud music. But there are better choices available. For not so loud music, the ER20XS earplugs are easier to use and provide better sound quality. For loud music, the Bilsom 303S earplugs are easier to use, provide better sound quality, and more protection. If money is not an issue, then the ER15 and ER25 are the best choice. Shooting

The Mack's Pillow Soft earplugs only provide medium to high protection. For Shooting, stronger earplugs such as the Hearos Ultimate Softness Series should be used.

Motorcycle

Silicone earplugs are not the best choice for motor sports for multiple reasons. First, they must be molded first, which is not necessary for foam earplugs. Second, strong foam earplugs provide more protection. Third, having molded silicone and putting on a helmet might prove to be tricky. Fourth, there is more risk of the earplugs deforming while wearing and not providing a good fit any more and thereby losing their protection function. For these reasons, other earplugs such as foam earplugs are to be preferred for motor sports.

Invisibility

The earplugs are placed in the outer ear. This makes them visible more visible compared to flesh colored foam earplugs.

Lifespan

Each plug can be used up to a around 5 times until it loses its stickiness and has to be discarded.
